Snowfall Warning in effect for:
  • Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt
Snowfall with total amounts of about 30 cm is expected.

Where: Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt.

When: Tuesday morning to early Wednesday morning.

Remarks: A frontal system moving into interior BC will bring heavy snow to the Coquihalla Summit on Tuesday. The system will pass late Tuesday but snow will continue through Tuesday night due to an unstable southwest flow.

Snow, at times heavy, will ease to a few flurries early Wednesday morning.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Where:
- Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass
- West Columbia

When:
Beginning late overnight tonight through to Wednesday morning.

Remarks:
A frontal system moving into interior BC will bring heavy snow to the region late overnight through early Wednesday morning. Along Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass, total snowfall accumulations ranging from 15 to 25 cm are expected. Over West Columbia region including Revelstoke, total snowfall amounts will be near 15 to 20 cm.

Snow, at times heavy, will ease early Wednesday morning as the system passes.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
