Snowfall Warning in effect for:- Highway 97 - Clinton to 100 Mile House via Begbie Summit
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
When: Beginning early Monday morning, tapering off Monday night.
Where: Southern Cariboo region including Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Highway 97.
Amounts: 10 to 15 cm.
Additional Info: A Pacific frontal system is pushing into the BC interior. Snow is expected to begin early in the morning and continue through the day Monday. There is the potential for some freezing rain mixed with the snow at times.
Be prepared for hazardous driving conditions and slippery surfaces.
Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
