Snowfall Warning in effect for:- Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt
A long period of heavy snowfall continues.
What:
Tonight: 10 to 15 cm
Sunday: 10 cm
Sunday night: 10 to 20 cm
When:
A series of low pressure systems will continue to bring precipitation lasting until early next week.
Where:
Coquihalla Highway (Near Coquihalla Summit)
Additional information:
A series of low pressure systems will move through the B.C. Interior over the next few days. An additional 10 to 15 cm is forecast for tonight, followed by up to 10 cm tomorrow, and 10 to 20 cm on Sunday night. The snow does seem like it will taper off Monday morning, however another round of snow is possible on Monday night. Windy conditions are also expected, with periods of reduced visibility.
Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Road closures are possible.
