Snowfall Warning in effect for:- Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt
A long period of heavy snowfall continues.
What:
Today: 10 to 20 cm
Tonight: 10 to 15 cm
Sunday: 10 to 15 cm
When:
A series of low pressure systems will continue to bring precipitation lasting until early next week.
Where:
Coquihalla Highway (Near Coquihalla Summit)
Additional information:
A series of low pressure systems will move through the B.C. Interior over the next few days. An additional 10 to 20 cm is forecast for today, followed by a possible 10 to 15 cm tonight, and again 10 to 15 cm on Sunday. There is potential for additional snowfall on Monday and Tuesday; however, accumulation remains uncertain. Windy conditions are also expected, with periods of reduced visibility.
Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Road closures are possible.
