Snowfall Warning in effect for:- Trans-Canada Highway - Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.
When:
Starting overnight into Friday.
Where:
North Thompson, North Columbia, Kinbasket, West Columbia and Trans-Canada Highway - Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
Remarks:
An approaching frontal system will track across southern B.C. later today. Snow will begin overnight with total amounts from 10 to 20 cm expected before easing early Friday evening.
Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
